KindSteps Support Services
Our Story
At KindSteps Support Services, our journey began with a simple belief: every person deserves kindness, dignity, and meaningful support—no matter their age or ability.
What started as a passion for helping others has grown into a professional, person-centred service dedicated to supporting NDIS participants and older adults across South Australia.
Our Story – From Teaching to Caregiving
My name is Ramneek, and before founding KindSteps Support Services, I spent many years working as a teacher.
During my teaching career, I supported students of all learning styles, personalities, cultural backgrounds, and ability levels. My classroom was always a place built on patience, empathy, structure, and growth—the same qualities that now form the foundation of KindSteps.
Through teaching, I developed deep experience in:
-
Supporting individuals with additional learning and behavioural needs
-
Communicating clearly with families, guardians, and allied health professionals
-
Encouraging independence through step-by-step skill development
-
Building trust and creating safe, supportive environments
-
Understanding how people learn, adapt, and thrive in different ways
-
Managing challenges calmly and professionally
Alongside teaching, I also provided care and support to NDIS participants, which strengthened my desire to work more closely within the disability and aged-care sectors. I witnessed firsthand how much difference consistent, compassionate support can make in someone’s daily life.
KindSteps Support Services grew from this experience—combining my teaching background with my passion for meaningful care.
Our Mission
To provide personalised, reliable, and compassionate support that empowers every individual to live with confidence, independence, and joy.
We walk every step with kindness—because small steps of care create big changes in quality of life.

We show up. We follow through. You can rely on us.
