Our Services

At KindSteps Support Services, we provide personalised, calm, and consistent support tailored to each individual’s goals, preferences, and daily needs. Our services focus on building confidence, independence, and wellbeing through respectful, relationship-based care.

We support self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants.

Personalised Daily Living Support

We provide gentle, reliable assistance with everyday tasks to help participants live safely and comfortably at home.

Support may include:

  • Personal care assistance (non-clinical)

  • Support with daily routines

  • Meal preparation and light cooking

  • Household organisation and daily structure

  • Support to maintain a safe living environment

Our approach encourages participation and independence wherever possible.

Psychosocial Disability Support (Non-Clinical)

We offer calm, understanding support for individuals living with psychosocial disability. Our focus is on emotional wellbeing, routine, and connection — not therapy or clinical treatment.

Support may include:

  • Emotional support and reassurance

  • Building and maintaining daily routines

  • Confidence and motivation support

  • Social engagement and connection

  • Assistance to access the community

We work alongside existing plans and professional guidance.

Skill Building & Independence Coaching

Using a teaching-led approach, we support participants to develop practical life skills at their own pace.

Support may include:

  • Cooking and meal planning skills

  • Cleaning and home management routines

  • Budgeting and everyday money skills

  • Communication and social skills

  • Public transport training

  • Time management and organisation

We break tasks into achievable steps and celebrate progress along the way.

Using a teaching-led approach, we support participants to develop practical life skills at their own pace.

Community Access & Social Participation

We support participants to engage safely and confidently in their community.

Support may include:

  • Attending appointments and activities

  • Shopping and errands

  • Social outings and recreational activities

  • Building confidence in new environments

  • Developing social and community connections

Community participation is guided by participant goals, interests, and comfort levels.

Domestic Support

We assist with light household tasks that help maintain a comfortable and organised home.

Support may include:

  • Light cleaning

  • Laundry assistance

  • Meal preparation support

  • Home organisation

A calm home environment supports wellbeing and independence.

Transport with Support

We provide safe, supportive transport to help participants access their community and appointments.

Support may include:

  • Transport to appointments and activities

  • Support during outings

  • Assistance with transitions and mobility

  • Encouraging independence with travel skills

Transport is provided in line with NDIS guidelines.
